Few weeks ago, I've replaced my old desk with a bigger one. The reason why I decided to replace is because I need a bigger workspace. If I'm not wrong, I bought the old desk for about $130. Guess how much the new desk cost....... $89! Am happy with my purchase.
This is my old desk

New desk! :D
Ok.... Few days ago, I came across this laptop/monitor "table". Click here to view more details.
Pretty cool huh? But it cost $69.90! Including shipping, it will cost $74.90. I find it pretty expensive but it is very useful. So I thought, why not, I DIY it instead!
I went to Art-friend to buy few pieces of wood and wood glue. All thanks to my close friend, Aman, for the guidance! :D I didn't even know wood glue actually existed. -_____- Lol.
So here are the "ingredients".
4 pieces of small rectangular wood at $0.80 each for the base
A piece of medium rectangular wood
and..... yes....
WOOD GLUE!
Here is the total cost... Pretty cheap huh? :)
And here is the output!
Kinda satisfied with the output.
However,
1) It feels a little high. Quite uncomfortable to do the typing on my laptop. I have to cut the base to make it slightly shorter. Going to find a saw soon. Lol.
2) I think I should paint it black. :)
3) Use the pieces of excess wood to make a mug holder/pen holder/whatever(multi-purpose) holder. :D
I think that's all for today's post. Feeling tired now. Goodnight everyone! Sleep tight! :)
